I've mentioned it before, but I want this summer to be filled with fun activities for the kids. Ok, maybe it is for me, but lets just say it is for the kids. I hated the feeling of being stuck in the house last summer and when school started back in the fall I had nothing to show for the it because we never really left home. I am hoping to take the kids to some sort of museum, zoo, etc. each week starting today! I asked Grandma Rice to join us on our little outings. It makes these trips so much easier having an extra person to keep an eye on the kids. I wouldn't want to go and leave one in the monkey cage at the zoo!
This week we went to The Detroit Science Center. They have a new area called Kids Town which is only for kids 5 and under. Kaleb and Emerson loved it. Kaleb really liked the rest of the science center as well. He kept asking what else he could do. He just loves all of the hands on activities they offer. We will definitely be going back next year.

I heard about this exhibit. Thanks for the inspiration! The summer's been busy and going too fast! Feel like going to the park someday? - Andrea
