Just try and tell me that this isn't the cutest lil soccer star you have ever seen!!
Good news to report. After Kaleb was bribed by his father this past Saturday, he took the ball from midfield and made his first goal of the season! I couldn't believe my eyes. The kid who is normally following the herd a good 10 feet back and has his head in the clouds most of the game actually took control and dribbled the ball half way down the field, getting around the last opponent to score!!! I'm pretty sure I sounded like my dad's favorite old Michigan broadcaster Bob Ufer with my screams of excitement.
For a little more money, Kaleb is shooting for two more goals this Saturday.
It will be his last game and probably a deciding factor if we continue soccer in the spring. Most of the season Kaleb didn't want to continue playing, but after his score he said he wanted to play again. We'll see after Saturday.
