Cousins, Fireworks, and Fun

Here is how I found little miss Emerson playing with her water table the other day. She was having a ball just sitting in the thing, dumping water all over herself. You can tell she was quite proud of what she accomplished. This is one thing I can say that Kaleb never did with the water table!A shot of the cousins on the beach. I have some cute nekkid pics of the kids in the outdoor shower, but I thought it best to keep those off the internet!
We had a great time visiting with Chris, Sarah, Clara, Carter and our soon to be niece! Ok ok, so they don't know what they are having, but I'm making a prediction. We'll see come September.

Ah, the fireworks. We had such a great time. Both kids did great considering we got there 2 hours before the actual fireworks went off (and WAY past their bedtime). Emerson did pass out in the middle of the fireworks. How she managed to stay asleep through all of the loud booms is beyond me. Kaleb crashed as soon as we got him into the car on the way home.

Miss Emerson has already entered her teen years as she was embarrassed to sit with us. She kept moving her seat about 10 feet in front of us to sit by herself! Too funny.

Kaleb is my little budding photographer. He is always begging me to use my camera. Look at the cute picture he got of me and Jason. I am always complaining that there are no pictures with me in them. I guess I'll be using Kaleb a little more often!
Emerson and I traveled all the way to Jackson this past Sunday to attend my friend Mindy's baby shower (who is expecting a girl in August). Another baby we can't wait to meet! It was a fun girls day, but the poor baby was exhausted from being in the car for so long. I thought she looked sweet on the way home so I snapped this picture.

Here is the picnic table that Jason and his dad worked on all day Saturday. He is quite proud of his accomplishment! It turned out great. We had been wanting to rebuild a picnic table as our other was beyond repair. Now we have some extra seating just in case we decide to ever invite people over.
